There is obviously onboard DSP running very clever algorithms that do an astounding job at noise cancelling for all the relevant modes (of which there are plenty.) The actual audio quality of the mic itself is excellent, I've recorded everything from run and gun interviews (figure of 8) to orchestral concerts (in Omni) this mic is just brilliant for the money.... and it's tiny.....       As a professional wedding videographer, I'm loving this new mic from Sony. The ability to change the direction of the audio capture, from front, to back to wide to narrow right through to stereo is fantastic. Its like I have 2 mics in 1. On top of that, its so small that I can put it on my gimbal camera without it putting my gimbal out of balance.
      It comes with a wind shield and both digital & analogue connection options. - my tip is to use the supplied connector cap when storing the mic, as I've had damaged the fine pins on the digital connectors on previous digital mic connections.
      This mic is a no brainer if you want an all in one solution for your Sony camera.

      Es un micrófono increíble, que va a mejorar tus videos de manera brutal, tiene muchos modos para captar el sonido, se escucha muy nítido, muy recomendable, tienes que tener en cuenta que no te servirá para cámaras que no sean Sony ya que tiene la zapata especial Sony, es muy caro, pero si puedes será el compañero perfecto para una Sony Alpha 7 IV, está a otro nivel de los micros incorporados en la cámara. Es muy polivalente por todos los modos de captura que tiene, lo recomiendo.
